SQuiD consists of two parts, browser-side and server-side code that link together. With a validated account, your SQuiD Bookmarklet will update the back end and you use simply visit our site to access the management tools directly. Some helpful information appears inside, and you can always read our guide to learn about using all our applications together. You get a free browser-side crawler without an account. Replace the free version of your Bookmarklet with a validated version, available once you are inside as an account holder.
You can rely on us to spider for new links at least once per month. Want to know faster? You can request an interim crawl for new links by email to the Administrator. You can always use the SQuiD Bookmarklet crawler to check for new links at anytime. With the bookmark, you have your own link checking device that connects to your account in the system. Any changes detected by your browser spider SQuiD bookmarklet will update the system automatically. You don't even have to be manually logged in.
There are temporary system messages that inform you of new links etc. At some point, we'll be able to provide notices to you by email. Our Link Building application will spawn email and send copies of requests back to the system, which will trigger status changes automatically. These messages help record the outgoing Link Building text to the webmaster, including the date and time for keeping track in our management system. Depending on our scheduled system upgrades, these planned features may be available by summer 2009. Beta users will be able to use advanced features as they become available without having to pay higher costs (depending on their membership-type and account standing).
Each account holder can use SQuiD for a single primary domain. You can request an agency-style account at any time and one will be provided when we have the facilities to do so. If you elect to share login details, the account works for more than one user at a time on the primary site for that account, and you might want more than one account for multiple primary sites unless you request a valid agency-style relationship with SearchReturn. SQuiD has a helper application for importing 'comparison' sites. The technical relationship between primary sites and comparison sites is for building co-citation analysis for Link Building strategy.
